Health and Wellbeing Assessment in the East Riding

East Riding Local Plan Evidence Base

The East Riding of Yorkshire Council webpage ‘Evidence base’ (accessible here) provides an array of documents and needs assessments which helped formulate the East Riding Local Plan. To quote from the page directly:

“An evidence base is a collection of information we use to understand the area where we live and work. This includes such studies as Housing Need Assessments, Employment Land Reviews, and Landscape Character Assessments. It also includes programmes and strategies developed by the council, its partners and other key organisations with an interest in the East Riding. The studies, strategies, programmes and statistics that make up the evidence base were crucial in producing a robust Riding Local Plan and have been reviewed, where relevant to prepare the Local Plan Update for the East Riding.”

The list below summarises a number of key themes within the Local Plan Evidence base and many sit comfortably within the Conditions of Living wheel. Each theme features an array of evidence in the form of local strategies and studies that can be viewed and downloaded.
