The map below is provided by ONS which shows the prevalence of different sexual orientation by local authority area.

Different areas of England and Wales can be selected by either clicking on the map or by typing into the search bar. Viewers of the map can zoom into an area by either using the wheel on their mouse or using the ‘+’ and ‘-‘ buttons. When an area is selected the map will zoom into the desired area and display a prevalence of the sexual orientation categories. Darker areas of the map indicate a higher prevalence of the sexual orientation chosen.

Table 1 below, provides the prevalence of sexual orientation within the East Riding and compares it against the Yorkshire and Humber region and England averages.
